Ninety One partnered with Entelect to improve delivery effectiveness and collaboration across teams.
NinetyOne set out to strengthen cross-team visibility, coordinate planning, proactively manage dependencies, and align work more consistently with business outcomes through more structured programme increment planning.
Entelect facilitated the process – bringing together product owners, third-party vendors, and key dependencies into a shared planning environment. We introduced a structured cadence for medium-term, large-team planning that prioritised work against a common goal, aligned timelines across all parties, and created a single shared board to drive delivery and resolve release conflicts.
Entelect's Agile consultants up-skilled internal developers, who in turn up-skilled the client teams. As maturity grew, we scaled the model from 50 participants in the first planning session to over 170 people working across multiple business departments and regions, and evolved the format from in-person to online to support multi-region collaboration and cost efficiency.
Predictable, goal-aligned delivery: Teams moved from disconnected backlogs to a shared mission with progress reviewed against those objectives during each PI cycle.
From 1 team to 21 teams planning on a regular cadence: Greater planning discipline and cross-team alignment improved coordination across teams.
