As one of South Africa's largest health insurance providers, Discovery Health found significant friction managing benefits and customising them on a member-by-member basis as part of the claims process. They needed to separate benefit management from claims processing entirely – enabling more personalised member services without adding complexity to the claims workflow.
Entelect helped deliver a scalable, rules-driven benefit management system. Built on a microservices architecture, the platform dynamically assigns benefits at both the member-specific and scheme-wide level. This supports automation, flexibility, and future scalability while simplifying the overall claims experience.
