1. Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Entelect to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place within our business or supply chains. Entelect is committed to a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms and upholding ethical business practices in all our operations.

2. Organisational Structure and Supply Chains

Entelect operates within the technology consulting industry, and engages with a diverse supply chain. We recognise that modern slavery risks may be present within certain regions, industries, or supplier relationships, and we take proactive measures to mitigate these risks.

 

3. Policies on Modern Slavery

Entelect has established a Modern Slavery Policy, which reflects our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners. Our key commitments include:

•    Zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking.

•    Ensuring ethical sourcing and supplier accountability.

•    Providing training to employees on identifying and addressing risks of modern slavery.

•    Encouraging whistleblowing and secure reporting mechanisms.

 

4. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

We conduct regular risk assessments to identify areas where modern slavery may be a concern. Our due diligence processes include:

•    Conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with our ethical standards.

•    Requiring contractual commitments from suppliers to uphold anti-slavery practices.

•    Investigating and addressing any reported instances of modern slavery.

 

5. Training and Awareness

We provide training for employees, particularly those involved in procurement and supply chain management, to enhance their ability to recognise and respond to modern slavery risks. Training covers:

•    Identifying signs of modern slavery in the workplace and supply chains.

•    Reporting mechanisms and whistleblowing procedures.

•    Legal and ethical obligations under the Modern Slavery Act.

6. Measuring Effectiveness

Entelect monitors the effectiveness of its anti-slavery measures through:

•    Regular supplier audits and compliance reviews.

•    Tracking reports and concerns raised through whistleblowing channels.

•    Evaluating training effectiveness by assessing employee awareness.

7. Reporting and Whistleblowing

We encourage employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any concerns regarding modern slavery through our confidential whistleblowing contact form. All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly.

8. Approval and Publication

This statement was approved by the Board of Directors and is signed by a senior executive. It is published on our website and reviewed annually.

Current Progress

Entelect has commenced its ESG programme and is working with an independent sustainability consultancy to develop its ESG framework and reporting approach.

Current activities include:

• Carbon emissions assessment and reporting.

• Sustainability materiality assessment.

• ESG strategy development.

• Sustainability reporting framework preparation.

• Carbon emissions certificates and supporting environmental information are available to clients upon request.

During 2026/2027, Entelect intends to:
