Shashi holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Wits and joined Entelect in April 2005 as a junior developer, analyst, project manager, salesperson, and consultant. In a small business, you do whatever it takes. That willingness to take ownership of anything and everything has defined his leadership ever since.

As Chief Executive Officer, he leads Entelect with a clear belief that technology partnerships should deliver real, measurable outcomes, built on empowered teams, strong engineering foundations, and a culture of continuous improvement. Under his leadership, Entelect has evolved into a globally recognised technology partner, acknowledged through multiple Best Place to Work and Fastest Growing Company awards. His proudest moments, by his own admission, are not the awards. They are the individual growth stories of the people who have built their careers here.

When he is not leading the business, you will find him enjoying wildlife, time in nature, and the occasional game of soccer while his knees still allow it. Do ask him how he managed to wreck his Alfa Romeo in the company parking lot.

After graduating from UCT with a BSc in Computer Science, Tim briefly pursued a professional music career in Gauteng before concluding that music doesn't always pay the rent. He joined Entelect in 2007 as a graduate Software Engineer and has spent nearly two decades growing with the business, through delivery, sales, account management, strategy, and into executive leadership.

As Chief Operating Officer, Tim leads Entelect's operational and delivery functions with a strong emphasis on reliability, accountability, and sustainable customer success. Known for his pragmatic, execution-focused style, he is particularly recognised for stepping into difficult situations, solving problems decisively, and helping teams regain momentum when it matters most. He has played a central role in growing Entelect into an international technology consultancy of more than 2,000 people across multiple countries.

Outside of work, Tim remains an avid surfer and travels regularly in pursuit of exotic waves.

Matthew joined Entelect straight out of varsity after completing his BSc IT (Hons) cum laude at UJ, and has spent his entire career growing within the business, from graduate Software Engineer through to CTO. That journey has given him a deep, well-rounded understanding of how complex delivery environments work and how to lead them well.

As Chief Technology Officer, he oversees delivery management with a focus on building exceptional teams and leaders, translating complex needs into clear technology strategies, and helping organisations move from ambiguity to action with confidence. He is known for strong opinions, a stubborn desire to get things done properly, and a genuine talent for galvanising the people around him.

When he is not shaping strategy or mentoring delivery leaders, you will find him correcting grammar or defending his DOTA 2 title at Entelect's LAN game evenings.

Daniel graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2007 with a BSc in IT and Computer Engineering, quickly finding his footing in enterprise software engineering across Java and .NET. His passion for building software was soon complemented by an affinity for people and relationships, which set him on a path through delivery and operations into senior leadership over more than fifteen years at Entelect.

As Chief Customer Officer, he connects customer strategy with hands-on delivery, grounded in responsiveness, transparency, and accountability. He is known for building trusted, enduring partnerships and fostering a culture where customer success is central to every decision.

Outside of work, Daniel is a devoted father, a committed gym-goer, and an occasional squash player. He is also working diligently towards becoming Entelect's first Bitcoin millionaire. Progress reports are pending.

Yatish graduated from Wits with a BSc in Electrical Engineering in 2005, and joined Entelect the same year. He worked across projects as a Software Engineer and later Team Lead, before moving into General Management in 2010. He was appointed Chief People Officer in 2016. At the end of 2017, he took on a new challenge: heading up Entelect's first international branch in New Zealand, and later helping kick off the Australian business in 2021. Now Chief Regional Officer: ANZ, Yatish plays a greater role in shaping Entelect's global strategy and how we work across borders and time zones. Ask him about fishing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, cold water plunges or his devotion to a toasted chicken mayo sandwich.

Aline qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005 before taking an unexpected turn, heading up an IT Project Management Office and discovering that her combination of finance, process, and technology knowledge was something of a superpower. That breadth has shaped her career ever since, spanning auditing, governance, risk, compliance, and business transformation before moving into senior leadership.

As General Manager at Entelect, she leads the finance function with a focus on sustainable growth, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring the organisation remains a reliable, trusted partner as clients navigate change and complexity. During her tenure, Entelect has achieved significant milestones including recognition in the Financial Times Africa's Fastest Growing Companies rankings and the Standard Bank Top Women Awards.

Outside of work, Aline is a budding artist, though her son has made clear she still has room to improve. She may also, one day, admit to having played in a band. We have theories about the instrument.

Ryan has spent almost two decades designing, developing, and implementing database and Business Intelligence solutions. In 2007, Ryan joined Entelect as a Data Solutions Engineer and in 2014, he was promoted to head up Entelect’s Data Solutions Division. Ryan’s passion for data and business efficiencies have led him to managing the commercial side of Entelect, ensuring our internal operations are integrated and run smoothly, and that we continue to improve on our data-driven decision making.

Ryan has a mixed bag of hobbies; everything from cycling to playing golf, and he is also an avid collector (or hoarder) of everything from antiques to geek collectables (he is a secret Funko Pop fanatic). Be sure to give him grief about his obsession with Justin Bieber.

Sheldon joined Entelect in 2007 straight after completing his Electrical Engineering degree at Wits, spending his early years working across multiple projects in varying industries and learning how technology could add real value to very different kinds of businesses. Nearly two decades later, he remains one of Entelect's most versatile leaders, with experience spanning software delivery, systems design, architecture, talent development, and organisational leadership.

As General Manager, Sheldon is focused on developing the people and capabilities that underpin exceptional customer outcomes. He believes that great technology solutions start with great people, and his focus on talent development, organisational design, and continuous learning helps ensure Entelect remains connected to emerging technology trends and the next generation of engineering talent. His leadership in this space has earned international recognition through a top award at the Future of HR Awards.

Outside of work, Sheldon's passion is rock climbing. And talking about rock climbing.

Tomislav graduated cum laude from UNISA with a BSc in Computer Science in 2007, whilst holding down a full-time job at a software consulting company. He began his career building software across industries ranging from Casino and Mining to Retail and Insurance, before his passion for people and leadership saw him transition from engineering into senior people leadership roles.

As General Manager at Entelect, he shapes the people strategy that underpins the organisation's long-term growth, focusing on leadership capability, organisational structure, and the talent systems that allow Entelect to scale without losing the culture and delivery excellence that customers rely on. Having spent more than two decades across both technology and people leadership, he brings a rare ability to bridge business strategy, engineering craft, and human potential.

His passion lies in helping people realise their full potential. Outside of work, you will find him on the golf course, which is either where he does his best thinking or his best complaining, depending on the round.

Jacques heads up our recruitment division. He graduated cum laude from Stellenbosch University with an MSc in Industrial Engineering in 2011 before moving into IT as a systems analyst, quickly learning that translating business problems into technical solutions comes down to one thing: bringing the right people together. That conviction has shaped his entire career.

Since joining Entelect in 2016, it has found its most direct expression in his role as Head of Global Recruitment, where he is responsible for attracting and hiring software professionals from around the world to build the cross-functional teams that clients depend on. He approaches recruitment the way he approaches delivery: with a clear view of what good looks like and a focus on long-term fit over short-term convenience. Alongside recruitment, he heads up the Cape Town office, bringing a practical lens on what makes teams work and what gets in the way.

Outside of work, Jacques bodyboards whenever he can, walks his dogs and devotes considerable energy to perfecting the braai. He takes all three seriously.

Candice's passion for people and relationship-building led her down the path of Talent Acquisition where she started her career in 2007. Her love of technology found her taking up multiple roles in the Software Consulting industry including Account Management, Commercial Principle, and Entrepreneur. She now oversees the Talent Acquisition team at Entelect where the Jedi Finders spend their days discovering top talent for one of SA’s coolest tech companies.

Candice loves spending time outdoors, sheis a foodie, brews her own wine from time to time and has managed to coin the nickname ‘Candypops’ with her colleagues.

Ahmad heads up our Graduate Recruitment. He completed his BSc Computer Science (Hons) at Wits before joining Entelect as a Software Engineer and working his way up through the ranks. One of his greatest passions is nurturing engineers and taking them to the next level, and that instinct extends beyond his delivery teams into his role heading up graduate recruitment, where he helps identify and bring in the next generation of Entelect talent.

He remains a strong advocate for pragmatic engineering and best development practices, and is still known to crack open an IDE on occasion, just to keep things honest.

Outside of work, Ahmad thinks Die Hard is the best Christmas movie ever made, believes Lord of the Rings is essentially about short people saving the day, and can give excellent advice on what to actually watch on Netflix.

Bianca graduated from The University of South Africa with a BCom in Economics and Business Management. Having spent 6 years in the gaming industry as a Product Marketing Manager at Electronic Arts, moving into the software industry was a natural progression, and she joined Entelect in March 2018. As one of only a handful of the team who aren't techies, her passion for people and company culture is where she contributes most of her time. She's the driving force behind our Graduate Programme, The Entelect Challenge, and Entelect's Technology Accelerator and DevDay.

She has a daughter, who is half Australian, and in her spare time, you will find her on the tennis court or trying to better her swing on the driving range.

With over 17 years in IT consulting, Beavin brings structure and clear thinking to complex technology and transformation challenges. Much of his career has been spent in financial services, where he developed deep experience in large-scale delivery, operational resilience, and technology modernisation, giving him a practical understanding of the regulatory and organisational pressures that shape how technology decisions get made.

He works across business and technology stakeholders to align priorities, remove friction, and keep delivery moving. His approach is direct and collaborative, as comfortable in a boardroom conversation as he is getting into the detail with a delivery team. He places a lot

After completing his B.Com in Informatics at Tuks, Bennie set off on a career in business management consulting that has taken him across more industries than most, including insurance, telecommunications, financial services, health, automotive, and manufacturing. He has learned that the fundamentals of good delivery travel well, and that fresh context often reveals solutions that specialists miss.

With 24 years of experience spanning business analysis, process engineering, and the last 16 years focused on programme and project delivery, Bennie has worked across the full delivery lifecycle. He joined Entelect in March 2022, bringing a joined-up view of how decisions at one end affect outcomes at the other, and a genuine love of governance and structure that he makes no apologies for.

He focuses on strong stakeholder alignment, consistent execution, and developing the delivery leaders around him, believing that a team with strong fundamentals and a culture of accountability will outperform any process or framework.

When he is not keeping large-scale programmes on track, he has strong opinions on beard grooming and Chelsea Football Club. Ask him why his name is not actually Bennie.

Hennie graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and a BCom Honours from the University of Pretoria, beginning his career in 2002 as a Software Engineer before progressing through solution architecture and technical leadership. He joined Entelect in 2014 as a Team Lead and has since grown into one of the company's most experienced senior delivery managers.

What sets Hennie apart is his track record of scaling delivery at pace without losing quality or culture. He has grown delivery teams from handfuls of people to well over 100, in more than one instance, while maintaining the kind of client relationships that sustain long-term account growth. His experience spans BFSI, with deep expertise in software engineering, delivery governance, and strategic client relationship management.

Outside of work, Hennie is an outdoor enthusiast who finds solace in running, camping, and overlanding. When he is not in nature, he is tinkering with IoT devices in an ongoing effort to automate the care of he and his veterinarian wife's many foster fails.

Karlheinz completed his BIT degree at Tuks before joining SARS for a few battle-hardening years, then moved into building software for large insurance companies, working his way through the ranks while accumulating an impressive number of site visits to the UK and Eastern Europe along the way.

As a Delivery Manager, his focus is on getting the basics right, consistently and at scale. He brings structure and clarity to complex environments, ensuring teams are aligned, accountable, and focused on meaningful outcomes rather than just outputs. Known for stepping into complexity, bringing alignment where there is noise, and creating momentum where delivery has stalled, his leadership style is calm, direct, and grounded in reality. He sets a high bar for standards and is, by his own reputation, a stickler for attention to detail.

Outside of work, Karlheinz is a keen outdoorsman and self-proclaimed bibliophile who loves quiet time in the bush and is always on the lookout for the next destination to visit with a good book in hand. Recommendations on either are always welcome.

Matthew relocated to South Africa from the north of England at the start of 2014, ostensibly to get away from the rain. He holds an MSc in Software Systems Technology from the University of Sheffield and brings over two decades of experience in IT, having built his career from the ground up through technical and delivery roles before stepping into senior leadership at Entelect.

Along the way he developed a particular expertise: making distributed and remote engineering teams perform at their best. Working across multi-location and hybrid environments over many years, he developed a deep understanding of the dynamics that make or break remote teams, from communication patterns and delivery culture to the subtle ways distance can erode collaboration if left unmanaged. He is a firm believer that geography should never determine how valued or effective a team feels.

Known for his calm, thoughtful leadership and practical approach to complex delivery challenges, Matthew is a go-to voice on how engineering teams can collaborate effectively whatever the structure.

Outside of work, you will find him cycling, running, climbing, or swimming. Do ask him about his idea of a romantic meal. It is a conversation worth having.

Moosa has worn a lot of hats over a 23-year career in software, including engineer, business owner, technologist, mentor, and team leader. That breadth gives him a practical fluency in the challenges facing the people he works with, whether they are engineers deep in a technical problem or clients navigating a complex transformation.

As a Delivery Manager focused on insurance and banking, he works closely with teams and clients to keep delivery on track, build strong working relationships, and ensure that the technology being built is actually solving the right business problems. He brings an entrepreneurial mindset to enterprise delivery, balancing technical execution with commercial practicality and a genuine passion for bringing people and technology together to solve problems.

Outside of delivery, Moosa is a committed family man, a motivator and mentor who invests in the people around him, and a devoted fan of soccer and Age of Empires. He has also, amazingly, once been a victim of piracy. The "aaargh" kind.
